405 Method Not Allowed after Ghost upgrade

December 30, 2014 1.3k views

Hi, I created a snapshot before upgrading from Ghost 0.5.3 to 0.5.5. Although I followed the steps on Ghost's website at http://support.ghost.org/how-to-upgrade/, I encountered a problem that resulted in a bunch of 405 Method Not Allowed hits on my CSS and JS files.

I restored from the snapshot, but the 405 errors persist. Any idea what to do? It was working when I took the snapshot.

I'm using a custom theme called Ghostion.

  • Your error logs might give us a better idea about what's going on here. Are you seeing anything interesting in either /var/log/upstart/ghost.log or /var/log/nginx/error.log ?

  • Any ideas? I have changed the active theme to Casper to no avail, so that rules out it being a problem with Ghostion.
