cannot run make installdb.

/usr/local/src/netdot

[root@SANT01 ~]# sudo cd /usr/local/netdot
[root@SANT01 ~]# sudo make installdb
make: *** No rule to make target `installdb'.  Stop.
[root@SANT01 ~]# sudo cd /usr/local/src/netdot
[root@SANT01 ~]# sudo make installdb
make: *** No rule to make target `installdb'.  Stop.
[root@SANT01 ~]#

  • Hey! Any additional info you could provide will help us answer your question. What is the software you are attempting to install? Is there a Makefile in the current directory? That error suggests that there isn't.

  • @feiwa2 - Do you need sudo to do the cd?

    cd /usr/local/src/netdot
    sudo make installdb
