Question

Container Registry garbage collection fails

Posted October 2, 2021 105 views
DockerDigitalOcean Container Registry (DOCR)

When I try to empty garbage on my Container Registry using doctl I get this error
garbage collection is temporarily disabled for this registry because of a detected manifest list and will be re-enabled once supported
I had uploaded an image with multiple architectures, which seems to have triggered this message. The current ‘latest’ image has only one architecture.

So: how/when can I empty the garbage?

PS: When I use the web UI to empty the garbage on my Container Registry, I get a generic error Sorry, there was an issue initiating the garbage collection.
