Elk stack working with log4net

I have tried every which way and can't get logging to work. Google is showing me no love at all. So is there good example of how to configure elk to work with .net


  • Where are you running into trouble? It's hard to answer a question this broad. In general though, you could take a look at this tutorial: How To Install Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana 4 on Ubuntu 14.04 In particular, see the section on setting up logstash forwarder for info on how to get logs from your application to the centeralized logging server.

  • I install it on Centos box, I have kibana 4 working. I am new linux so it all bit of mission. All the examples I have seen writing through port 9200 to elasticsearch, Which is not open,if open up this port Kibana dies. I feel missing piece of this puzzle
