Facing server down problem from last 3-4 days. No help/response from digitalocean.

I was using a server with 512 MB RAM. It was going down, if real time visitors are more. Upgraded the server to 1GB. Still facing the same problem.

It goes down, if more than 30 users are active at a moment.

Any help will be appreciated.

You may consider adding swap file, at least the server won’t goes down immediately.

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-add-swap-on-ubuntu-12-04

You app seems very memory intensive, there is nothing to do with limited memory.

The solutions is to optimize your code, bring up a higher memory instance.

Or put a load balancer in front and bring up multiple droplets at the back to spread out the load.

I am using apache. 3-4 other websites are also there. But these websites does not have any traffic at all.

I have the same config but have no issues. Maybe the wrong place to get a quick response.
