Hi @sitaram0641,

The process is pretty straight forward, you’ll need to create your new domain a configuration file for itself and that’s it. The first step is to find if you are using Nginx or Apache. To do so, once you have sshed in your droplet type in the following

netstat -tulpen | grep 80

Depending on what you see, either Nginx or Apache that’s what you are using. Now, if you are using Apache, you can follow this tutorial :

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-apache-virtual-hosts-on-ubuntu-18-04

If you are using Nginx, you can follow this tutorial:

When using the Nginx web server, server blocks (similar to the virtual hosts in Apache) can be used to encapsulate configuration details and host more than one domain off of a single server. In this guide, we'll discuss how to configure server blocks in Nginx on an Ubuntu...
  • Thanks
I successfully installed virtual host for 1 domain.
after that i uploaded wp zip file to public_html and extracted it through putty but dont know in which folder putty extracted that wp zip file. Also i uses this Unzipper.php
but when i try to unzip it says Directory not writeable by webserver.

    • okay i extracted it through winscp command
      unzip -o example.zip

      • It seems like the user you were using, did not have the proper permissions to upload it.

Having said that, I’m glad to hear you were able to extract it.

Did you make your new domain work properly?

        • yeah domain is working fine, moved the content with the help of migrate guru
and just had to change ip in cloudflare that’s it
and putty extracted that file in root folder not in var/www/domain
