How do I jail and share the same folder across users on debian 7.0

February 22, 2015 740 views

What I would like to acomplish is the following:

I have 3 users:
-john
-foo
-bar

I want to jail all of them in /usr/share/nginx/www/project

They should be able to delete/write/edit each others files.

Since I am used to directadmin where you can add a new FTP user and jail the user in a specified directory I am not sure how to acomplish the same task manually on my debian 7.0 server.
