Question

How to set up lets encrypt certificates for multiple apache virtual hosts on 20.04

As I was looking over this tutorial I realised it was quite old, is this still a workable solution in Ubuntu 20.04?

Hi @mnhworkdev,

What you can do is follow this tutorial:

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-secure-apache-with-let-s-encrypt-on-ubuntu-20-04

The tutorial provides information on how to install Certbot, allow HTTPS connections through your Firewall, obtain a certificate and make sure it auto renewals.

The last two steps while explained for one website/app can be used for multiple websites. When using Certbot, you can just select how many certificates to be issued for the domains on your Droplet and that’s it.
