Question

How to Set Up Static Site on a Subdirectory in the App Platform

I have a Django app running on the app platform at https://mysite.com. I’d like to add a static blog (Jekyll) using a subdirectory like https://mysite.com/blog. It looks like I need to set up a reverse proxy, but I don’t know if that’s possible with DOAP. Are there are any resources or recommendations for getting that set up?

Hi there,

What you could do is specify a public HTTP requests route for your static component:

App platform route

This is a way of mapping your URLs to different components under a specific App.

There should be no need to setup a reverse proxy.

Let me know how it goes. Regards, Bobby
