My droplet was not responding to pings and I requested for a power cycle through the management console. However, ever since then I’m getting a perpetual “Your event is processing” page whenever I load my droplet; I’m stuck!

I’ve got the same problem. After renaming my hostname, my droplet went into “event processing” mode. I could not any longer get into the server via Virtualmin Pro, it timed out. I could not get in via Putty either, it asked for the username and then timed out as well. However, I could get in via the Digital Ocean console, change the hostname back and reboot. That made no difference though. The droplet stayed in “event processing” mode. I then powered it off, expecting to be able to turn it back on again. However, that didn’t work out that way. It’s remained in “even processing”. I cannot switch it back on. I have posted a ticket with the helpdesk on this one but haven’t heard back as yet.
Same problem here now :(
