Question

Restore Droplet back up

Our app is currently ‘broken’, showing no data at all. I have restored the droplet that contains the data from the oldest backup available and this hasn’t resolved anything.

Are our backups overwritten monthly or is it possible to get a back-up from an earlier period?

Hi @mvfb,

Unfortunately, if the backups are being overwritten monthly, the older backups most probably are now gone. Having said that, you can always contact DigitalOcean’s support and ask them if there are any leftover backups. You can reach DigitalOcean’s amazing support team from here:

Additionally, if you mention what lead to breaking your app and what do you exactly mean by breaking it, maybe we in the community can give some pointers on where to look to fix it?

Hope that helps! - KFSys.
