Setting up SSH key/pair from Windows

DigitalOcean Configuration Management Deployment

I am trying to use Vagrant to create a file I can create new droplets from. I'm pretty sure I followed [this tutorial(https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-use-digitalocean-as-your-provider-in-vagrant-on-an-ubuntu-12-10-vps) correctly up until the vagrant up --provider=digital_ocean step.

I am on windows so I used PuTTYgen to create an SSH pair, and I added it to DIgital Ocean through the settings but I keep getting the following error when I run vagrant up

Bringing machine 'default' up with 'digital_ocean' provider...
There are errors in the configuration of this machine. Please fix
the following errors and try again:

```* `private_key_path` file must exist: C:UsersMyName.sshlocal_key```
```Digital Ocean Provider:```
```* SSH public key not found: C:UsersMyName.sshlocal_key.pub```
I'm not sure what the issue is. My VagrantFile points the correct folder which holds the ssh so maybe there is another problem I don't know.
