Timeout on SSL / Apache 2.4.7 / Ubuntu 14.04

I have installed SSL following this guide: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-an-ssl-certificate-from-a-commercial-certificate-authority

After completing installation, I just get a timed out white page.

My 000-default.conf is configured as such: http://pastebin.com/cEzXuDZM

When I visit the site at it's Ip address with HTTPS, I see the godaddy certificates, but obviously doesn't validate because of the mismatched domain. If I visit at the actual domain it just times out and returns:
This webpage is not available
ERRCONNECTIONTIMED_OUT

Try commenting out this line:

SSLCACertificateFile /etc/apache2/ssl/intermediate.crt

Let me know how it goes!
