I am running CentOS Linux 7.1.1503 and memcached-1.4.15-9.el7.x86_64. But after few days memcache shuts itself down automatically. Usually it happens around after 2 days.

  • It's probably crashing due to lack of memory. You can check this by verifying your logs for messages about it (memcached) being killed.

Above is the last few lines of messages file on /var/log folder on server. I can't see the reason memcached died.
