Wordpress isnt loading right with NGINX, rewrite rules?

January 6, 2015 1.9k views

Hi Fellows,

Yesterday I've created a droplet with a standard debian installation on it.

The following packages are installed at this moment:

  • Proftpd
  • MySQL
  • php5-fpm

I've created a test directory with wordpress in it on /var/www/
And I made a link from /var/www/ to /var/www/ so the test wordpress environment is accessible from which works fine.

But if I try to visit any page on that particular wordpress site, it shows the content of the index.html located at

I think there is a misconfiguration somewhere in nginx, but I can't find the problem.

Could someone help me out?
