Hello experts

I am currently using Memcached for database caches and I would like to know according to your experience what to choose between APC or XCACHE? And why?

can I use both?

Thanks for your contributions Regards Cloud Dreamer

Thank you all. I finally switch to PHP 5.5 + memcache and everything seems to be going quite well. <br> <br>By the way, regarding Pablo of vDevices reply, I am not using WordPress, I am using my own in-house PHP scripts set up from scratch and continually improving to be maybe share one day… <br>

@Jacques: You should always use the latest stable versions of every software you use (because of bugfixes and security updates). Zend OPCache is integrated into php 5.5 if I recall correctly and it’s a better APC alternative.
