This site provides you with some basic business information. This applies to each new partner and active/established ones.

Your Partner Development Manager is your primary point of contact, working closely with the Account Executives that support your sales efforts. Your PDM is your interface into all the other DigitalOcean teams that support your business. 

Register your deals through the Deal Registration Form

Deal Registration is available to all DigitalOcean partners and is an easy way to ensure your company gets the sales/SE support and credit for your DigitalOcean sales. This is a simple way to decrease your sales load, speed up the sales process and work more efficiently. 

MDF Program

Request DigitalOcean market development funds for your campaign

DigitalOcean partners have access to our Market Development Funds (MDF) to help fund your marketing and lead generation efforts. MDF can be used for items and marketing components like (partial list):

  • Awareness: events or campaigns that promote the DigitalOcean brand and product awareness among a target market segment
  • Demand/Lead Generation: digital or social media advertising, AdWords, direct mail, events such as lunch & learns
  • Regional or local events: Sponsorship, registration for regional events executed and led by DigitalOcean
  • Business intelligence: 3rd party or other lists to advance the marketing and selling of DigitalOcean services

The most important components to success as a DigitalOcean partner

This is a true partnership where both work together to establish and grow the business. Some of the key components of our partnership include

  • Sales and selling: Establishing knowledge of DigitalOcean products, how to sell them and the relationships to help you sell is a key focus of your PDM and the Account Executives.
  • Marketing: Let’s drive awareness, messaging around joint value and leads to make your business and salespeople successful. We will provide resources to complement your market expertise and execution.
  • Pipeline development: Getting prospects in the door is a good start. We will work with you on moving those leads through the sales process efficiently and effectively as possible. An important part of being a DigitalOcean partner is establishing and leveraging relationships with our Account Executives.
  • Communication: Your PDM will establish regular business meetings to ensure we understand each other’s businesses and support goals. These meetings should involve C-level people discussing the business strategy, tactics, growth opportunities and areas to address. 
  • Business planning: Having a solid and mutual plan drives your business with focus and action. Your PDM, with others at DigitalOcean, will work with you on an annual plan.
