The below terms (the “Preview Terms”) apply to your participation in the Private Preview of, and your use of, the above identified DigitalOcean Service (the “Preview Offering”). The Preview Terms supplement the terms of the DigitalOcean Terms of Service Agreement, including Service Terms, or such other written agreement between you and DigitalOcean governing your use of our Services (our “Agreement”). The Preview Offering is a Beta Service for purposes of the Agreement, and terms not defined in these Preview Terms have such meaning otherwise defined in the Agreement. If there is a conflict between these Preview Terms and the Agreement, these Preview Terms will control solely with respect to the conflict relating to your use of the Preview Offering.
Subprocessor Disclosure: DigitalOcean uses Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare, and Traversal (located in the United States) as subprocessors to support delivery of the Preview Offering service. A current list of other DigitalOcean Service subprocessors is available here.
Your participation in the Private Preview and use of the Preview Offering is voluntary. If you do not accept these Private Preview Terms then you may not participate in the Private Preview.
The Private Preview is scheduled to begin on April 28, 2026.
This Preview Offering is a completely revamped observability experience—called DigitalOcean Insights—built to provide granular insights with advanced metrics, logs, improved alerting and dashboarding, and multi-resource observability. It is a limited-availability release designed for testing and feedback and is not a General Availability (GA) product.
Pre-Production Only: The Preview Offering is provided “as-is” and is intended strictly for non-production, test-only workloads.
No Service Level Agreements (SLAs): There are no uptime, performance, or availability guarantees. Existing DigitalOcean SLAs do not apply.
Data Durability: DigitalOcean provides no guarantees regarding data durability; telemetry data may be lost or services reset for maintenance without notice.
Agent Installation: For certain resources, DigitalOcean may install required agents on the customer’s behalf to enable advanced telemetry.
Only deploy non-production workloads with the Preview Offering. You are strictly advised to not use this Preview Offering for production workloads.
Provide feedback at the completion of the Private Preview period.
N/A. Use of Insights’features during the initial phase of the Private Preview period will be provided at no additional charge. Pricing changes during the Private Preview Period or for future offerings (Public Preview or GA) will be communicated in advance.
DigitalOcean will provide a minimum of 15 days’ notice before any billing commences under the new pricing or for future versions.
Notwithstanding any broader definition in the Agreement, “Beta Service Confidential Information” specifically includes any feedback, benchmarks, or test results provided by Customer or generated by the Preview Offering.
Support is provided on a reasonable-effort basis during standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays).
You may disable the Preview Offering at any time by reaching out to Customer Support.
We make no promise that the Preview Offering will continue to Public Preview or General Availability or that any General Availability version will be unchanged from the Preview Offering. At the end of the Private Preview, we may:
release a generally available version of the Preview Offering,
continue the Private Preview,
move the Preview Offering into Public Preview,
discontinue the Preview Offering without releasing a Generally Available version.

How do I get started? Participation is conditioned upon acceptance of these terms. Once whitelisted, new telemetry and capabilities enabled by DigitalOcean for services such as GPUs, DOKS, and Dedicated Inference will be available automatically (further guidance will be shared for any additional enablement requirements).
