Postgres as a Service -- focus on building your app, not on administering databases.

Database Labs is Postgres as a Service – you focus on building your app, while we run the database layer. We handle backups, security, monitoring and alerting, system administration, and server upgrades. Works with Rails, PHP, Django, Node.js, Java, and any other standard Postgres-compatible software.

Control your databases from a web console or with our easy REST API. Most common Postgres extensions are included for free, including PostGIS. Custom setups are available, and we’re always adding new features based on user requests.

We <3 our customers: mail support@databaselabs.com and talk to us about what you need, anytime!

We recently switched from Database Labs “custom consulting” side in AWS to their automated interface in Digital Ocean. We love it! When we want a Postgres database, we push a button, and before we can get back from getting a cup of coffee in the break room, our new Postgres server is built! Its a huge time saver.

I like this option on Digital Ocean. I can make a Postgres database with no hassle with a click of a button. Its like Heroku only better (like, just off the top of my head, without the outrageous price tag as soon as I scale my app.)

We have started using Database Labs some time ago. Great service and awesome customer help!

I found Digital Ocean through Database Labs. The Database Labs team was super helpful getting me setup on both platforms and getting my app working. A big thanks to Database Labs!

Simple, just works.

We were considering AWS because of Postgres RDS… but it really was more complex and expensive than we needed. This project lets us stay in Digital Ocean, but still get managed Postgres. Nice.

Needed a database to back my new web site, this just worked in 5 minutes. Its super simple.
