AIO Wireless offers Computer Networking, Internet Reselling, and Managed IT Services in the Philippines. We spoke to Mark Anthony Noquiao, Business Owner at AIO Wireless, about why they use DigitalOcean and what they like most about DigitalOcean products.

Q: How did you decide to come to DigitalOcean, and were you on another cloud provider previously?

A: Our primary reasons for choosing DigitalOcean as our main cloud provider are: first, the availability of our required server location (Singapore); second, our main programming framework, PHP Laravel, is managed through Forge, and Forge is already integrated with DigitalOcean, giving us simplicity in managing our server and databases.

We had used Google Cloud and AWS previously, but DigitalOcean provides the simplicity and flexibility that we need. We also found the prices to be reasonable and fit within our budget.

Q: What specific DigitalOcean products do you use and how to do they work for you?

A: We use a mix of static servers deployed using Forge, with our source code located in GitHub. We have single servers and multiple servers with load balancers, a MySQL database, and Droplets for our Redis Cache Server. We started with basic services, but now our business applications are hosted on DigitalOcean and managed via Laravel Forge.

We find the MySQL databases to be good overall and enjoy the simplicity of deploying them.

Q: What are your future plans for AIO Wireless?

AIO Wireless focuses on offering Computer Networking, Internet Reselling, and Managed IT Services, with occasional Software Development projects. Our goal is to specialize in the networking side of the business and expand our internet service offerings. We hope to grow and scale our business with the help of DigitalOcean, while maintaining and improving our existing systems.
