hi, I have registered a domain name like xyz.com and it’s hosted on a droplet with DO. I also have a home server called “myhome” and I have some web app hosted there. If I open the 80 port, I can access the home sever’s webpage from another place by typing the IP address on a browser.
What I want to do is to access my home server using a url like “myhome.xyz.com” rather than using the url.
before I moved to DO I could ask the web hosting company to map the url with the ip for me, how can I do it myself as I have more control of server (droplet) now?
thanks, jony
