Good Afternoon,
I’m currently trying to deploy a normal Socket Server to App Plattform and I find it a bit non intuitive on how to do that.
The interface doesn’t give me such options, but only talks about HTTP.
Is App Platform only meant for Http Servers or is there a way to set that up for Sockets (which have to be long running and thus not be terminated) or do I have to use Kubernetes for things like that?
Cheers,
Dominic

Hi there,
Services that you run on the App Platform are exposed via app domains on port 443/HTTPS but this also should work for web sockets as well as long as you also use the wss://
scheme when connecting.
You can take a look at this example repository here:
Hope that this helps!
