Just wondering if it will do the job for podcast audio or video partial content streaming

You probably need Adobe Media Server or smthg compatible, which supports RTMP/E protocol but supports S3 for content. Alternatively, Joomla/Wordpress streaming plugin which support S3 contents will do the job as well.

It is actually a 1 click install of Adobe Media Server on AWS, not sure you could install on a Ubuntu machine. If you can then good to go!!

soooo, i would like to use DO not AWS, and i'm running Processwire CMS not Wordpress etc (as they're terrible messes of CMS's). I was simply wondering if Spaces can do the job or not at partial content delivery, if no then please say so and I'll move on. thanks

  • Should have mentioned DO claims to have AWS S3 protocols, compatible with DO-Spaces. So one might be better off searching for products that support AWS-S3 and then simply change the end point to make it work for DO-Spaces.

Interesting but still doesn't answer my question.

Spaces doesn't run any sort of streaming service.

You'd need to access it with an S3 compatible client or library, or use the Spaces API to access it directly.

If that doesn't answer your question, please let me know.

NOOOOOOOO, blimey.

I'm asking does SPACES suport partial headers: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Range_requests and therefore can it be used to request files e.g. audio and video files, that can be used for podcasts and streaming that require partial headings to function.

Thanks :)
