Cant add domain

Hello, I just purchased a domain ‘’ but i cant add it in digitalocean, is there a way i can add this?

The system performs a DNS lookup to see if the domain has already been added to DigitalOcean. If it has, you’ll receive a message that says that the domain Name already exists. If the domain has not been previously added to DigitalOcean’s DNS service, it will be added.

From the question, I would take it that using the normal way you are receiving some kind of an error is that correct?
