Hi,
i cant enable mod_expires for my apache server. when i enable mod_expires from a2enmod_expires comand i get internal server error for my site. and this error log.

im using w3tc as chache program and in browser cache menu Set expires header is ticked marked. also what i saw in my htaccess file is

I’ve looked for an answer also and i found that i’ve need to activate header also like this:
sudo a2enmod headers
Hello there,
mod_expires should come with the default Apache installation, but you can check if the module is both installed and loaded using these commands
- apachectl -M | grep expires
If mod_expires is not enabled or installed you can run the following command to install mod_expires on Ubuntu/Debian systems
- sudo a2enmod mod_expires
Then you need to restart Apache
- service apache2 restart
That’s it, you now have mod_expires enabled.
