Hi,
I added 5 Sendgrid CNAMEs to the domain phytosil.in. but even after one day, SendGrid is not able to verify the domain. it shows the following error:
Expected CNAME for “em833.phytosil.com” to match “u9150987.wl238.sendgrid.net”. Expected CNAME for “s1._domainkey.phytosil.com” to match “s1.domainkey.u9150987.wl238.sendgrid.net”. Expected CNAME for “s2._domainkey.phytosil.com” to match “s2.domainkey.u9150987.wl238.sendgrid.net”.
Unable to lookup CNAME for “url5141.phytosil.com”. Unable to lookup CNAME for “9150987.phytosil.com”.
Please look into this.
Thanks Nitin

Hey friend,
I am unable to look up em833.phytosil.com as well. I might suggest that this is not what the actual CNAME was made to be in the DNS editor. Double check the name of the record that you are creating. Put only “em833” in the name field.

4 years later, still a problem, not a single cname post has a response from the DO team. Their cname’s don’t propagate and they don’t care. I’m having to switch to another cloud provider because of it.
