Hey guys,
I just recently had my droplet suspended because I was away on vacation and forgot to pay. Yesterday, I paid and got my droplet back online. However, I can’t connect to it through SSH or FTP. In the FileZilla console I keep getting this output:
Status: Connecting to 161.35.56.86...
Response: fzSftp started, protocol_version=9
Command: open "root@161.35.56.86" 22
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server
I can, however, connect to the DigitalOcean console just fine. And when I ping from my network, I get a 100% loss with “Request timed out.” on every request. I’ve looked this up and there have been suggestions to disable firewall using ufw, but it seems I don’t have it installed: “ufw: command not found”, and I can’t install it with sudo apt install ufw because I get errors about not being able to resolve ‘mirrors.digitalocean.com’.
Anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this?
Thanks
