Create Droplet using SSH keys does not work

Networking Getting Started Security Ruby on Rails System Tools Ubuntu

I created a droplet and used my SSH key in the process so there is no root password. When trying ssh xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx I get osboxes@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx's password:

So I run ssh -vvv xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and I get verbose debug log shown below. The interesting part is

debug1: Offering RSA public key: /home/pc/.ssh/id_rsa
debug3: send_pubkey_test
debug2: we sent a publickey packet, wait for reply
debug1: Authentications that can continue: publickey, password
debug1: Trying private key: /home/pc/.ssh/id_dsa
debug3: no such identity: /home/pc/.ssh/id_dsa: No such file or directory

It looks like the send_pubkey_test didn't work so we proceed to trying private key id_dsa and I know that doesn't exist so No such file or directory is correct..

So why didn't my id_rsa not work?

pc@pc:~/.ssh$ ssh -vvv xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

When you create a droplet supplying an ssh key via the create page this key is applied for the root user only. Connecting as another user would not work until you log in as root and create those user accounts.
