Creating nameservers with .DK domain

Posted on April 24, 2014

Hi,

I have a .DK domain set up for a droplet, on the droplet i have installed WHM and had someone configure that so it should work. Now i need to find out how to register the nameservers to the DNS.

With .DK domains, it is the danish government that own all domains, and that is with a central domain service: http://dk-hostmaster.dk/english To create an approved nameserver with DK-Hostmaster, i should need at least 2 IP adresses, and the nameservers DNS settings should allow DNS transfer from the nameservers to their nameserver and IPv4 and IPv6 Witch is: DK Hostmasters nameserver: hostcount.dk-hostmaster.dk IPv4-adress: 193.163.102.6 IPv6-adress: 2a01:630:0:40:3:4:5:6

Now my only question is, HOW TO? :)

Hope someone knows a little about that, and cant wait to hear from someone :)

Best regards, Kasper

Has anyone found an answer to this? I spoke with support of hostmaster.dk and godaddy (connected to my domain) but they haven’t been able to help…

I hope I didn’t misread again and understood that you want to setup a DNS. See here: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-install-the-bind-dns-server-on-centos-6

the files that is described in that article does not match the files on my server. <br>Besides that it is setup with WHM and cPanel software.
