Creating nameservers with .DK domain

Posted April 24, 2014 4.9k views
Hi, I have a .DK domain set up for a droplet, on the droplet i have installed WHM and had someone configure that so it should work. Now i need to find out how to register the nameservers to the DNS. With .DK domains, it is the danish government that own all domains, and that is with a central domain service: To create an approved nameserver with DK-Hostmaster, i should need at least 2 IP adresses, and the nameservers DNS settings should allow DNS transfer from the nameservers to their nameserver and IPv4 and IPv6 Witch is: DK Hostmasters nameserver: IPv4-adress: IPv6-adress: 2a01:630:0:40:3:4:5:6 Now my only question is, HOW TO? :) Hope someone knows a little about that, and cant wait to hear from someone :) Best regards, Kasper

I hope I didn't misread again and understood that you want to setup a DNS. See here:

This article will show you how to setup and configure the BIND DNS Server on CentOS 6.
the files that is described in that article does not match the files on my server.
Besides that it is setup with WHM and cPanel software.
If you are trying to create your own nameservers using WHM and CPanel, their documentation can be found here:

Hej Kasper

Fandt du ud af hvordan man gør det, fordi jeg står i samme situation og kunne godt tænke mig at få hjælp til det.

Has anyone found an answer to this? I spoke with support of and godaddy (connected to my domain) but they haven’t been able to help…
