Data Domain or Sub Domain is already own by another user

Hello My name is Avinash, I am facing problem in setting up domain on Digitalocean. I have one domain which is . This domain was on Hostgator but later i decided to shift that domain to DigitalOcean. I just wanted to Transfer domain name from Hostgator to DigitalOcean apart from the content. So I just changed the DNS settings in Godaddy, I changed the Nameservers to DigitalOcean and Points the A value to my DigitalOcean IP. After that when i was trying to add domain in DigitalOcean Droplet then it starts showing this error “Data Domain or Sub Domain is already own by another user” please anybody here can help me in resolving this error?

The system performs a DNS lookup to see if the domain has already been added to DigitalOcean. If it has, you’ll receive a message that says Data domain Name already exists. If the domain has not been previously added to DigitalOcean’s DNS service, it will be added.

Thanks for reaching out Avinash! Currently our systems only allow a domain name to be added to a single account. It looks as though this domain was previously used with our service, possibly by a previous owner of the domain. Please open a ticket with our support team here or from the control panel. Our support team will be able to verify the domain’s ownership and ensure that you can add it to your account.
