I am setting up a Webserver using Debian. I am a beginner so I have installed LAMP. How do I move forward? How do I upload my files? Can I use FTP or how do I uploud it?
I used the guide on Digitalocean to setup LAMP.

All droplets have SFTP enabled by default and this can be used to transfer files to your droplet. This guide will help you get started.
If you use your “root” user account with SFTP you will start out in the /root directory. By default, Apache on Debian 7 places the web root in /var/www

I am installing phpmyadmin to link myphp website with the database. I dont know how to do on the “Create the htpasswd file” in the guide https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-and-secure-phpmyadmin-on-debian-7
sudo htpasswd -c /path/to/passwords/.htpasswd username
