You can fix this with the Pacman Mirrorlist Generator of Arch Linux. Please use this generator and simply replace the contents of /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist with your generated list.
Thanks, i know how to replace the repo address.
But having the repo in the same network will provide much faster upgrade / downloading experience. I wonder why DO decide to remove the Archlinux repo, what are the reasons?
The Arch Linux repository mirror was removed about a month ago along with the Gentoo mirror. Until late 2013 DigitalOcean offered Arch as one of our OS options. After that time we continued to mirror these repositories for about two years. Since the number of Arch droplets on our network is extremely small after that time we are focusing our efforts on mirroring other open source projects that may see wider use among our users.
That makes sense, thanks. I forgot that I converted a Debian droplet into an Archlinux, not from official DO image.
