Question

Droplet created from snapshot of OpenLiteSpeed wordpress gives 404 when trying to access

I am unable to access my wordpress site after moving it to a new droplet using the snapshot feature. I get 404 errors in response to any url i try.

I am also unable to access any file that i put in the /var/www/html folder and cannot access phpmyadmin either.

The only thing i can still access is OpenLiteSpeed admin. The permissions of all the files in var/www/html have www-data which also matches the existing droplet that also works.

I am fairly stumped as to what could be causing this. The old droplet still works even after rebooting it.

I’m guessing it potentially has something to do with the ip-address change as this is the only difference i can see.

Any suggestions would be more than welcome.

Hi,

We didn’t use wild domain(*) by default for more security, so please update web-admin’s listener if you changed any IP or domain. https://docs.litespeedtech.com/Cloud/wordpress/#step-5
