Hi, I think I’m having problems with my droplet speed. At first I noticed when I installed (Open) VPN on my droplet, just to try it out and mess around with it for fun. Since I’m a beginner I thought the low VPN speed was caused by my bad configuration.
Now I tried to test my droplet speed using wget.
wget -O /dev/null http://speedtest-sfo1.digitalocean.com/100mb.test
Was what I did in terminal. 104,857,600 5.76MB/s in 34s was the output. The main problem was that if I watch the process starting, it starts really slow, (200KB/s, 300KB/s) and it goes up linear regression.
Is the method of testing correct and should I expect higher speeds?
