First time I'm really angry about DigitalOcean
Imagine you inspect your billings section and notice that you owe some money (less than $5) to DO for your droplets.
Since you’re a good guy you immediately deposit some money via paypal to get into plus again. Expecting a “thank you” message from DO would be reasonable but what I got instead was a message labeled “account locked”.
No email to my business address no nothing - just locked out of my account.
Of course I checked my paypal account and DO happily accepted my payment (you’re welcome).
Dear DO, even if you have legit concerns about my paypal account this is not the way to treat your loyal customers. To lock your customers account without further explanation might an acceptable practise in China but not in a civilized society.
Now that I think about it - just yesterday I convinced another business partner to switch over to DO. Guess how that makes me feel.
Needless to say I expect more than an apology if you want to keep me as a customer.
