After following this tutorial on DO for installing BackupPC on Ubuntu 18.04, I get a file downloaded when accessing http://dropletIP/backuppc instead of the web GUI (after successfully login)

Hi @danielpcharrua,
I’ve tested this and indeed you are right, I think that some dependencies are missing.
To fix the problem just save this installation script from the official backuppc repository:
https://github.com/backuppc/backuppc/wiki/Installing-BackupPC-4-from-tarball-or-git-on-Ubuntu
And then run it, after that it should all work as expected.
