FreeBSD offerings?

Hiya, Didn't see this in the droplet creation selection, nor did I find anything when I searched prior questions. I'm sure there is a reason you do not offer FreeBSD builds, but what is it? :)

It's in the works. To help bring it to fruition, sooner, vote for it on DigitalOcean's Customer Feedback forum: support BSD OS?.
You announced that you were bringing in software engineers to work on this starting in September.

As it is now nearly the end of October, I am wondering if you have a date set yet?
It's nearly December.

Any updates?
Is there any target to start offering FreeBSD ?

9.2-Release and 10.0-Release already have VirtIO drivers in GENERIC kernel (enabled by default).

If you need any testing, I can do it.
BSD is the 2nd most voted request on User Voice, and it's been 1 year (March 2013) since Digital Ocean indicated they "started" building this offering.

What gives Digital Ocean. Where is this functionality?
I'd like Freebsd too. Considering using AWS instead.

I use kvm at home and work (where it competes admirably against our official solution, VMware) and have several FreeBSD on kvm instances that have never given me any trouble. I'd happily pony up for another droplet here if I could run FreeBSD on it. What's the problem? Lack of support talent? Insufficient voodoo to get FreeBSD working with the D.O. console? I'd be interested to know, if only to understand your technology better.
