I want to chmod my home folder to 777 so I can install stuff but I’m having all sorts of problems knowing how to do this. 550 permission denied is the normal one. Can someone get me on the right track to sort this out. And please don’t tell me I shouldn’t be doing it. This is just a temporary measure.
