Gettings Suspicious Connections in Nginx Access Log

Posted on January 4, 2022

I’ve set up Nginx, Let’s Encrypt and Fail2Ban, but am still getting a few suspicious (GET requests returning code 200). How can I ensure full security for web server?

Hi @mpasquali,

What do you mean by suspicious?

If you see a pattern to them like the IPs being the same range or something similar you can block them but I’ll leave Fail2Ban to do it’s job.
