Heroku-like WordPress deployments with git and dokku

Good walk through and at the time of posting most recent I could find (some of the older tutorials have instructions to install deprecated Dokku plugins).

I was hoping that to be the last solution. Right now i have at a wordpress site at root domain and creating different node apps in subdomains. Are you sure there is no other way? Even in the tutorial that you recommended i asked and they dont really now how to make it work with nginx. If there is no other way, what aproach do you recommend for my workflow with buildsteps. thanks man!

Are you trying to edit the Nginx configuration on the host system? You should include a custom Nginx config in the root of the Wordpress project along with a
composer.json
file so that Dokku will pick it up.
