If I remember correctly, Cloudflare does not send Proxy Protocol headers by default. So if you include use-proxy-protocol it can cause the Ingress Controller to misinterpret headers, leading to incorrect IP detection.
Cloudflare typically uses X-Forwarded-For for the real IP but doesn’t send Proxy Protocol by default.
Can you try removing the use-proxy-protocol from the config and test it again?
