How can I automate letsencrypt ssl renewal on a load balancer?

Currently, to implement SSL on a load balancer, you need to generate the SSL certs on one of the load balanced servers, and then manually copy the certs into the load balancer.

How can this be automated for auto-renewal?

For anyone wondering:

New cert can be created on the account via the api: https://developers.digitalocean.com/documentation/v2/#certificates

It can then be added to the loadbalancer also via the api: https://developers.digitalocean.com/documentation/v2/#load-balancers
