I have been able to add my ssh key and login via putty, but the i.p addresss is not loading. it’s unable to connect. Can i get any solution to resolve this? I’ve been battling with this for days now and it’s really frustrating.

What I could suggest is using this One-Click installation option for WordPress:
https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/wordpress
That way you will be able to install WordPress with One-Click rather than doing all of the server configurations manually.
