How can I do a reverse DNS record?

2 Answers

If the hostname of the droplet in the DigitalOcean control panel is formatted as a FQDN, a reverse DNS (PTR) record is automatically created. So, simply name the droplet to match the domain (i.e. blog.example.com).

I need a IP reverse.

And I did not understand how I do this in my droplet. Can you help me?

  • Log in to the DigitalOcean control panel and rename your droplet to what you want the PTR record to be.
