How do I change my main Digital Ocean account password?

This has got to be one for the Dept. of Duh, I know, but darned if I can find it. (I'm _not_ referring to any system or user account -- like root, etc -- within a droplet instance. I mean the initial login from your web site's home page.)

Go to Under the My Account header, there's a link that reads Edit Password.

Updated for 2015:

Go to
On the right is “Edit Profile” button.
“Edit Your Profile” appears but only shows a “Current Password” field.
Click on the “Current Password” field and the “New Password” fields should appear as well.

If New Password fields do not appear, try again after removing browser extensions / adblock filters.

  • Thanks, it took me forever to find it. Definitely not a user-friendly way of changing passwords, I don’t think many people will realize you have to click into a box to reveal the new password fields.

Definitely a "duh" question, just as I feared. Thanks.
Been there more often than I'd like to admit!!!
