How do I load HTML files stored in Spaces without the file downloading?

Posted on May 18, 2021

I’m caching the HTML of emails in Spaces but when I try to load the file in a browser or iframe the file downloads instead of renders. Is there a setting for each Space I need to adjust so these files render instead of download? Or is that simply the way Spaces are designed to work and I should be using a different tool?

Hi there,

I have just tested this and it seems to be working as long as the file has a .html extension:

DigitalOcean Spaces HTML file

If there is no file extension the file will be automatically downloaded indeed.

Hope that this helps. Regards, Bobby
