Hey everyone. My client base in south america is growing. It might be nice to open a few droplets in Rio de Janero or a similar city. What do you all think?

We don’t have plans to open a datacenter in Rio de Janeiro at the moment, though we are looking to open more regions globally. We use UserVoice to track feature requests and gauge user demand. There’s already a request there open for a new data center in Brazil. You could consolidate your vote for a South American data center there or open an new request for Rio. That request also has some comments from one of our co-founders about the difficulties we faced when investigating opening a data center there. You can subscribe to receive updates as well.
