Posted on March 20, 2017

Trying to set up internet accounts on my Mac and am not sure how to access the postfix email server to retrieve and send emails from my Mac through the postfix server. How do I add this to my computer? Postfix is all set up on my server just need to know what settings I need to select on my Mac in order to get and send email from the mail app in El Capitan.

Thanks, Jason

Hi @tengence That’s not how Postfix works and not part of it’s job. You need to setup something else to actual store the emails and serve that over IMAP or POP3.
