I have nodejs app running on my droplet. How can I access it from my computer?
I get permission denied, and I don’t see any options in settings that might allow me to access it from an external ip

Where do you get Permission denied? We need more details to help you.
It is just enough to install node, run node app with something like pm2 or forever and you will be able to access from your PC using your Droplet Public IP.

If you use firewall, be sure to allow apps port.
App port should be higher than 1024 because if to run app on port less than 1024 you must do it as root.
