Question

How to enable IPv6 on Kuberenets Node Pool Droplets

I am using Kubernetes and want to enable IPv6 on the nodes. It appears that after the nodes are created I can do this manually and reboot them but this option is lost after nodes are recreated, for example due to autoscaling or an upgrade.

Is there a way to configure a node pool such that it creates droplets with IPv6 enabled?

Hey @kevincoxaxolotl,

IPv6 support is currently a Droplet-exclusive feature. Load balancers, Reserved IPs, and other DigitalOcean products do not currently support IPv6:

The best thing to do to get your voice heard regarding this would be to head over to our Product Ideas board and post a new idea, including as much information as possible for what you’d like to see implemented.

Hope that helps!
